So much of life is a struggle.

Meanwhile all around us the world is on fire.

How do you stay the course amidst the chaos?

Is it possible to not struggle alone?

What if families, communities, ecologies and institutions were equipped to help you not just survive these times—but actually support you to thrive?

What would it feel like to actually belong?

If you are hungry for connection…
If you struggle with overwhelm, powerlessness, isolation and burnout amidst these troubled times…
If you wander on the spiritual fringes, not knowing where you belong…
If you dream of feeling nourished and at home in your self, in your body, and in the web of life — while living in service in your unique sphere of influence…

…You belong here.

At the Sanctuary Northwest we seek to address root-causes of personal and collective trauma through nurturing joyful connection to body, earth, ancestry and community.

Would I recommend this? Would I recommend eating? Sleeping? Breathing? Yes. Everyone could use a space where they are accepted and seen, even for a moment.

Seasonal Earth Celebrations

Community gatherings at the Sanctuary Northwest were designed to meet this need and longing for ritual and community outside of traditional ‘church’. We aim to shift personal powerlessness (of self or others) into collective resilience through simple accessible seasonal community celebrations (song + movement + sharing + simple earth-body based ritual)

Grief Ritual

Grief is a widely exiled emotion in our collective body - and the consequences are all around us. This gentle, beginner-appropriate approach space for all the things that tend to get unattended and backlogged in our physical, energetic and collective body. Consider it a kind of cultural and energetic “hygiene” practice, designed for folks feeling alone, stuck, overwhelmed by their experience of grief, or folks not actively grieving but who want to feel more connected to their own life and vitality.

Roots & Rhythms:
A Spirit Circle for Collective Joy

“I don’t miss church…but I do miss the rituals and community.” Sound familiar?

Roots & Rhythms is a haven of practice for big-hearted earth-loving spiritual seekers longing for a sense of home in themselves, their relationships, and in the web of life, from which to navigate skillfully even in these troubled times. It’s kinda like church (for folks who aren’t into that into church).
